Samuel Eisen-Meyers is a full time visual artist and professional musician born and raised in Portland, OR. For the last decade he has built dual careers as a painter, conceptual artist, musician and songwriter. He received a BA in Fine Arts from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA in 2013, and has exhibited his works in solo shows at The Oregon Jewish Museum, Portland Community College, and other commercial galleries and self produced "pop up" shows in the pacific northwest.

This piece was created after a month long residency in Cuba working with and around another culture and artists.
