Sarah Ferguson is a visual artist in Portland, Oregon. She works in mixed media; painted paper collage and sculpture. Nature, story, and community inspire her art, and process and experimentation are her pathways to expression. Sarah’s art has been exhibited in solo and juried group exhibits throughout the west. She has enjoyed a career as a teaching artist in the region’s schools with Young Audiences and The Right Brain Initiative. She has also taught art in libraries and other community settings. She has received grants from the Regional Arts and Culture Council for various community art and education projects.
Garden Blooms is inspired by the garden Sarah plants every year. It’s a chance to nurture returning plants and add new ones, both edibles and flowers to celebrate the food that nurtures us and the beauty that inspires.
