Morning in the Garden is inspired by Gayle’s garden. The piece includes various different aspects from her garden: the bright morning light, summer flowers, and the little greenhouse where she starts her veggies. Every year, the garden is different but also the same. It also represents the cultivation of living in the same place for 40 years.
