Sarah Landwehr creates hand-pulled art prints and paper collages. She is a founding member of Flight 64, a non-profit printmaking studio in the Alberta neighborhood of Portland. She has an extensive background teaching art to youth and a strong belief that making art and living with art, is an essential element of a healthy and happy life.

Sarah’s piece is inspired by the Farmers' Markets and community gardens of Portland, which pop up in many neighborhoods and offer people a chance to experience the beauty, nourishment, and bounty that is possible in our community. Sarah intentionally featured affordable, healthful foods like beans, mushrooms, and potatoes because she believes that cooking with local foods can and should be accessible to all and that a beautiful, simple meal can be a time of joy, connection, and wonder.
